The Crispiest Tofu

Making crispy tofu is a delicious endeavor.  They take a little bit of preparation, but in the end the reward is worth it.  You can find this recipe, here,  in our amazing community driven recipe hub.

Start with marinated tofu. Cut them into whatever shapes you want to eat.

Set up a three bowl work station consisting of: seasoned potato starch, thickened seasoned non-dairy milk, and seasoned home-made bread crumbs.

The soymilk awaits dipping action.

Each piece of tofu gets a thorough douse in starch.

The potato starch has magical crunching properties.

Toss, toss, toss. Make sure they are all well coated.

Dunk each one in the seasoned milk.

Let the excess drip.

Gently toss in the seasoned homemade breadcrumbs.

Arrange 'em on a moderately oiled parchment lined sheet.

Season the tofu soldiers with black pepper and salt.

Bake them and then serve with Dippin' Sauces!

So crunchy,

so good!
